In both the areas patients in the elder age group and women had poor quality of life and mental well-being and are found significantly associated. In Hyderabad patients those with less education and lower jobs found to have poor quality of life and found highly associated. Significant association was observed between clinical factors and QoL and mental well-being where, patients with poor nutritional status (underweight and overweight), higher number of co morbidities (more than 3), advanced stage of cancer (IV stage), with prolonged time since diagnosis (2-5 years) and who were taking multiple treatments (chemotherapy, radiotherapy and surgery) had higher impact with declined quality of life and poor mental well-being. Significant association was observed between type of family, size of family, locality and socio economic status among patients of Hyderabad. Patients who were belonged to nuclear family with small size family members, those who were living in urban areas and those with low socio economic status had poor Quality of life and mental well-being in terms of anxiety, depression, loneliness and stress. Hence increased awareness on symptoms, early diagnosis, and prompt medical treatment, addressing multiple domains of physical, emotional, and practical needs, integration of supportive therapies by involving family holistically can significantly enhance patients' QoL and mental well-being.
