Abstract. ABSTRACT<br/><br/>A field experiment was conducted during kharif 2023-24 on “ Effect of foliar application of nano zinc and nano calcium on productivity of groundnut ” on Vertisol at AICRP on Groundnut, Main Agricultural Research Station, University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad, Karnataka. The experiment was conducted under RCBD design with twelve treatments which includes foliar spray of nano ZnO, nano CaO at different doses and different days after sowing with three replications using groundnut genotype GPBD-4. The results showed that among all the treatments, recommended package of practice (FYM at 7.5 t ha-1 + 18: 46: 25 kg N: P2O5: K2O ha-1 + 25 kg FeSO4 + 25 kg ZnSO4 + 500 kg Gypsum ha-1) recorded significantly higher plant height (32.2 cm), number of pods per plant (25.03), pod yield (2507 kg ha-1), shelling percentage (68.60) which was on par with the treatment NPK + foliar spray of nano calcium oxide at 2 g 10 l-1 of water at 30 and 60 DAS plant height (31.8 cm), number of pods per plant (24.57), pod yield (2470 kg ha-1) and shelling percentage (67.98) and treatment NPK + foliar spray of nano zinc oxide at 2 g 10 l-1 of water at 25 and 45 DAS plant height (31.5 cm), number of pods per plant (24.20), pod yield (2457 kg ha-1) and shelling percentage (67.11). whereas higher net returns ( 103062 ha-1) and higher B-C ratio (2.50) were recorded in NPK + foliar spray of nano calcium oxide at 2 g 10 l-1 of water at 30 and 60 DAS which was on par with treatment NPK + foliar spray of nano zinc oxide at 2 g 10 l-1 of water at 25 and 45 DAS net returns ( 102150 ha-1) and B-C ratio (2.48). <br/>
