Productivity Through Varied Phosphorus Levels and Foliar Application of Nano-Dap U1 - 630 PY - 2024/// CY - Dharwad PB - University of Agricultural Sciences KW - Agronomy N2 - ABSTRACT A field experiment was conducted during kharif 2023 on “Enhancing soybean (Glycine max L. Merrill.) productivity through varied phosphorus levels and foliar application of Nano-DAP” at AICRP on Soybean, MARS, UAS, Dharwad. The experiment was replicated thrice in split plot design with three main plots and four sub plots. The results indicated that among varied phosphorus levels, application of 100 % RDP recorded significantly higher plant height (42.15 cm), number of branches plant-1 (6.73), dry matter accumulation plant-1 (28.78 g), number of pods plant-1 (45.26), seed yield plant-1 (15.88 g), 100 seed weight (15.20 g), seed yield (2564 kg ha-1), haulm yield (3222 kg ha-1), net returns (`84517 ha-1) and B-C ratio (2.94) over 75% RDP and control. Among foliar nutrition, foliar application of Nano-DAP @ 4 ml l-1 at 30 and 45 DAS recorded significantly higher plant height (39.77 cm), number of branches plant-1 (6.34), dry matter accumulation plant-1 (26.27 g), number of pods plant-1 (41.86), seed yield plant-1 (14.55 g), 100 seed weight (14.74 g), seed yield (2330 kg ha-1), haulm yield (2922 kg ha-1), net returns (`71513 ha-1) and B-C ratio (2.59) over other foliar applications. Among interaction, application of 100% RDP + foliar spray of Nano-DAP @ 4 ml l-1 at 30 and 45 DAS recorded significantly higher plant height (45.80 cm), number of branches plant-1 (7.43), dry matter accumulation plant-1 (30.13 g), number of pods plant-1 (48.16), seed yield plant-1 (16.598 g), 100 seed weight (15.38 g), seed yield (2330 kg ha-1), haulm yield (2922 kg ha-1), net returns (`91434 ha-1) and B-C ratio (2.98). Thus, foliar application of Nano-DAP @ 4 ml l-1 at 30 and 45 DAS along with 100% RDP can be recommended to obtain higher yield and profit in soybean compared to RDF alone ER -
